Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

We would say to the subject title, are you serious.  Trouble times are for our good.  Well maybe as we are going through those times it is extremely hard to understand.  God does deliver us out of them all.  With that said, I believe we go through them for a reason. 

Two thoughts that come to my mind.  1. Hebrews 12:11 "Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."  Those troubled times are a time of Godly teaching.  2. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."  Times of trouble teach us as well as prepare us to give Godly comfort to those going through times of trouble.  Caring for others.  Let those times of trouble come, great teachings are going on and true comfort is being realized, and most interesting God will deliver us out of all troubled times.  Just allow Him to do His work.

Be blessed today as you sort through your troubles, God is doing something great as He delivers you.

Psalm 133:1

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethern to dwell together in unity.

Today as I begin to close out the busy part of the day, I am reminded how good it is for the church to be together in all things but especially when it is over the Lord Jesus Christ and the reality of who He is.  I have recently discovered a new internet community network, at least new to me, it is call faithbook.  As I have enjoyed facebook, primarily it is a great tool to get in touch with my family, my church and old friends.  I am also able to post my Bible verses for the day.  With that said, it is also a negative sounding board for many.  And that often demonstrates a people divided.  So when I stumbled on faithbook, a place to be together at least on the one thing, the main thing, Jesus Christ.  For me that is a good thing, to agree completely on the main thing.  Now I am sure we can look deep enough into faithbook where things could come up that we could disagree over, without dividing over the main thing.  Fiathbook makes for a good healthy Christian community network and it is such a pleasure to be together on the main thing, who Jesus Christ is.  No apology no need to explain, Jesus Christ the Lord of our lives the Savior of the world.  What more could you ask for. 

Today is a good day to here the psalmist say how pleasant it is for the brethern, the believers in Christ to dwell together in unity.  Thank you Lord Jesus.
