Romans 12:12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
Today I struggled with the subject to write about. There is so much in the scripture that can challenge you everyday. As I prayed the LORD spoke to me here in the Book of Romans.
Rejoice in hope, everyday when we awaken put that word on your heart, hope. To believe and desire that good things are to come your way. I wonder how many of us really do that. Put hope on your heart and then watch. But I need to caution you, Romans 12:2 says we are to transform our minds and not be conformed to the world ways. This hope comes to those who can transform their thinking to the point when things trouble you, hope will get you through the day. Something else to this daily challenge, be patient in those troubled times. Hope is what we put on our heart every morning; patience is how we walk thru the day. When those troubles come and they will we are instructed to endure. Hope on our heart patience in our walk what a great combination. But there is more.
There is hope which brings joy and there is patience that sustains us, there is something we need to do for all that
to really work in our day. The daily challenge is simply you and I being steadfast in our prayers. Not just prayer, a steadfast prayer, that intense determination to spend quality time with the one who freely gives us hope and patience. It is through our LORD Jesus Christ by faith in which we have hope, (Romans 5:3-5). Verse 4 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance (patience), character, and character, hope. We need to transform our thinking to be anxious for nothing (Philippians 4:6), patience at work, and steadfastly pray, that intense determination to talk with LORD, asking for a heart full of faith which happens to be the substance of hope (Hebrews 11:1).
Pray today that intense prayer seeking the LORD to touch you and fill you with faith and then allow Him to take care of those troubled times. Be blessed and be safe

Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him. On those who hope in His mercy.
Knowing the simple truth that God has His eyes on those who fear Him yet we are told not to be fearful. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
We are told not to fear. The word fear as the psalmist sings, is to reverence God. True reverence is a profound respect and esteem for another. We are to have a deep rooted solid respect for the LORD. Consider this fact; the LORD Jesus Christ is the only one worthy of praise and honor.
Now let’s consider what the Bible says, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him. Jesus Christ has His eyes set on you and I.
His eyes focused on our every need and our present condition as well as where our journey is taking us. That is all the more reason why we should trust Him.
Have you ever felt like your problems may be too big and you never hear from the LORD. We all should be moving our heads up and down right now. I have felt that way recently. Praying for a miracle especially as it relates to our church finances. I selfishly included my family; we have struggled financially as well. Then don’t you know Jesus allows Easter to fall right in the middle of these troubled times.
Easter Week, Palm Sunday and the wonderful resurrection celebration, 13 people get saved and then Monday morning comes. The e-mail system lights up and the telephone rings the previous Sunday’s financial records show up and a heavy load lands on my heart which many of you know is not in the best of condition. Finances still bad no pay for the pastor and one family trouble after another, I was angry and uncertain if what I was doing was the right thing. Praying diligently every day at the church alter and listening to Sunday’s message, last night while at home the LORD spoke to me from Psalm 33:18-19. Reverence the LORD He is watching over me, I will never lose hope in His mercy. No matter what challenges you and I may face know that His mercy endures forever and forever. That helped me immediately and I began to say to myself, I do what I do because I am what I am. You and I need to remind ourselves that we are a child of the living God, and with that will come tribulations and blessings, knowing all along His mercy endures forever.
Thank you LORD Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:20 now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
I have discovered over the course of the last few days often my blog’s are entirely to long with my comments as it relates to the scriptures. In the future I plan to keep my thoughts brief as well as simple. So here goes with the above verse.
Coming off a great Easter celebration seeing 11 people commit through prayer a desire to be saved, new ambassadors. What a great experience. The scripture indicates that is what we are to do. In fact we are as ambassadors, interesting position to take. A high ranking official sent from their home country to a foreign country to represent the home land. We are sent by God our home land, heaven, with a sense of urgency to share the love of Christ. Those of this world you who walk in the flesh not the Spirit, need to be reconciled to God, brought back into a loving relationship with Him, the LORD Jesus. With that said, with urgency, this morning I am asking someone reading this blog, not sure who you are, the LORD knows, be reconciled to God this day. Listen to this ambassador, please I beg you give your life to Christ, here is how, simply pray this prayer, from your heart to the heart of God.
Dear LORD Jesus thank You for clearing my sin account on the Cross, You are alive and I am asking for Your forgiveness this day, come into my life save me take me to heaven when I take my last breath, I receive You this day into my heart as my LORD and Savior and promise to serve You as an ambassador, in Jesus name I pray amen.
Well that’s it I pray whoever you are that you now tell someone what you did and get plugged into a Bible believing church to help you grow as a true ambassador of Christ. I would love to hear from you just so I can praise the LORD for what He is doing.
For all my ambassador friends have a great day as we implore others on Christ’s behalf to be reconciled to God. My ambassador friend Tom did just this while driving his work associate home from work, praise the LORD thank you Ambassador Tom.

Hebrews 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.
11:1. Faith is the substance, the reality of hope and hope is the absolute assurance based on the Word of God. It is His plan, His purpose, and His provisions that get us through each day, by faith. This faith is the substance of hope, supported by the evidence of what you can not see, the invisible. The very finger print of God on the heart of the believer is the evidence of His touch on our lives. His finger print we can not see however should be clear in the testimony of every believer. Faith, is forgetting all I trust HIM and this is best revealed when we face challenging times in our lives.
I have continued to allow the finances of our church to weight me down, and stress and depression always follows. My pastor warned me of this when I began this journey in full time ministry. Stress and times of depression come upon us all and when it does turn to faith.
My blog readers know this, my God speaks from His Word that gives me the full assurance that He is still in control. What you and I must do when these times come, look and listen, see through faith the wisdom of God. In Hebrews 11:3 it is by faith that we understand wisdom. Proverbs 1:2 to know wisdom and instruction, to perceive the words of understanding, wisdom understands how to live a Godly life in this ungodly world, and it comes from the assurance of the Word of God. Faith is wisdom. Faith is worship, vs 6 without faith it is impossible to please God, God is very happy when we worship Him, so faith is worship, it pleases the LORD. Faith is wisdom, faith is worship. Faith is wealth, verse 6 says faith is the substance of hope and the evidence is the finger print on our heart, God has touched us, then we understand that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He will give us rewards for being faithful. Faith is wisdom, faith is worship, and faith is wealth.
Finally, I will say that once again as I have faced stress and sadness, my God always is there to speak into my heart to have complete assurance that He does, and He is. Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Hebrews 11:27 Moses by faith endured as seeing Him who is invisible. When we look at the invisible by faith see Him who is invisible who supplies us the substance, the reality of hope, with assurance that He is and He will because His word is the truth and that settles it.
Forget all I trust Him, today I am praying and believing by faith the LORD knows our needs and will provide. Are you a person of faith in the LORD Jesus Christ, if so heaven becomes your home and Jesus becomes your LORD and Savior? If not pray this simple prayer and receive by faith the LORD Jesus Christ.
Dear LORD Jesus I have sinned against You, forgive me now, come into my life, I believe You died on that cross for me, save me today in Jesus name amen. If that was your prayer today please let us know so we can praise the LORD with you.

Proverbs 20:24 A man’s steps are of the LORD; how then can a man understand his own way?
As Christians we should never attempt to underestimate what God can and will do in our lives if we just allow the Holy Spirit to have all of who we are. The proverb here tells us that the LORD is the one who establishes our steps, our lives. Of course He will only direct our steps through following the Scriptures. What do I mean by that? Well the LORD will never establish our steps to walk away from Him, His church or His calling on your life (Ephesians 4:1). When we chose to step in a direction contrary to the Word of God then we are stepping out on our own, no longer protected by the power available to us through the Holy Spirit. Rev. 2:26 “And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.” You see we have to be over comers, this can only be accomplished if the LORD directs our steps. The scripture is clear when it says; we are unable to understand the circumstances in our lives as we attempt to do things on our own.
Today as we have finally arrived at a clear diagnosis for what has been troubling me the past 6 months, gastro paresis, simply put my stomach is not working correctly and medication and diet will help me manage the condition. Thank You LORD. How would anyone believe this is of the LORD? I do not know why, I have heart disease, COPD breathing problems, and bone disease and now this. He says here in Proverbs, How can a man understand his own way? What I intend to do now is continue to allow the LORD to direct my path through life not trying to understand these conditions just walking a little closer with Him. I will trust the LORD with all my heart and not try to understand, I will acknowledge who Jesus is in my life and He will direct my steps. If I would try to figure it out on my own I would never understand and that is when satan takes over and people take steps away from what pleases the LORD, away from church, fellowship and serving Him. I stand on the words from Jesus, “narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” A difficult path but it leads to life, ever lasting life. What do you choose today, direct your path or allow the LORD to direct your walk everyday no matter what comes your way.
Are you allowing God to direct your steps or are you trying it on your own? I will never walk away from the LORD, from His church, or from His calling on my life. Will you join me; these steps are of the LORD.
